Honey LaBronx is the host of The Vegan Drag Queen Cooking Show and also Big Fat Vegan Radio with her co-host Laura Yaz. Also an LGBTQ rights activist, Honey uses her exposure as a drag performer to spread the vegan message to new audiences. A member of Queer Rising, Honey was heavily involved in the 2011 fight for marriage equality in New York State. She even went to jail fighting for marriage equality along with her drag mother, Bob The Drag Queen (winner of Season 8 of RuPaul’s Drag Race). Audiences have enjoyed her performances around the world. A Wisconsin native, she moved to New York City in 2000. She is an aromatherapy enthusiast, and such a big fan of Björk that she even taught herself to speak Icelandic! Out of drag, Honey is known as actor/photographer Ben Strothmann who has served as the staff photographer for Playbill, the Broadway Yearbook, BroadwayWorld.com, and countless theatre companies.
